The multidisciplinary symposium “Sound, environment and connective technology” explores convergences among the arts, social sciences, physical sciences, and engineering. It will bring together scholars from a variety of areas such as acoustics, psychoacoustics, bioacoustics, sociology, psychology, semiotics, film studies, computer science, engineering, ethnomusicology, sound art, digital arts, and electro-acoustic music. The symposium aims to develop and promote a broader discourse on sound, environment, and communication/media technologies.
